This resort, built in 1883, offers guests sailing trips to an isolated island via a 38-foot catamaran, several times a week. The Inn sits on Calusa Indian grounds, which is a mound of shells representing hundreds of years of nourishment from the sea. The Calusa Indians lived here centuries before the Spanish and Ponce de Leon made the Isle of Saint Mark a port of embarcation for their return to the Old World.
Inn amenities include a fitness center and an on-site restaurant. Teenagers can also take advantage of the local YMCA where there are dances and other group activities just for them.

From Southwest Florida International Airport: Take I-75 southbound
Take exit #101 onto CR951 (Collier Blvd.) and continue southbound.
Stay on 951 for approximately 11 miles to Marco Island
In Marco Island, make a right turn on Bald Eagle Dr. and follow it to the end of the road.
Turn left on Palm Dr. The hotel will be on the right side of the street. |
